A major bomb has been dropped causing the UK to rethink However this is not a physical war no!!! This is a a war that I think the UK has lost on the first wave.

I think 'war' is putting it a bit high @Admin . 'Creative discussion', maybe, and perhaps we shouldn't mention the East India Company's take on the iconic Boston Tea Party as the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland.
The EIC are also doing a series of Una and the Lion coins, and the Pobjoy Mint did one in 2019 for the British Virgin Islands, so the theme isn't just a Royal Mint exclusive (whatever they might think).
Anyway, the bar is beautiful . I think the Lion is much more realistic than the one on the Royal Mint bar, which has a rather blocky face. The background is very nice indeed, and obviously different from the common background on the RM bars. The Sunshine Mint makes some really nice things.
One interesting difference is in the texts on the bars. The Royal Mint bar has the classic 'Dirige Deus Gressus Meos', which translates as 'May God guide my path'. The text on this new bar reads 'Dirigit Deus Gressus Meos', which translates as 'God guides my path'. Maybe there's a copyright issue? After all, the Royal Mint went after the Pobjoy Mint over their use of 'Britannia Rules the Waves' on a coin.

Of course I was being dramatic. It was an attention grabbing opening. I do wonder as you later mention if the RM has any copyrights on this but I doubt it. Una and the Lion are iconic and that would be like the US mint putting a copyright on the Statue of liberty. LOL
AceBullion was a hard one to get a TM and a Copyright on. but some of the designs were granted them. Anyone can view that in gov website. I spent a lot of time and money on those. And Lawyers fees to get certain Copyrights behind things... So perhaps The RM did the same... who knows. It is not outside the scope of possibility.

The image wouldn't be copyrighted, it is ubiquitous: the RM didn't copyright the image of Britannia. They registered the text 'Britannia Rules the Waves' on coins, and that enabled them to pursue Pobjoy. I did think it was interesting how the two Una and the Lion texts differed.
I know you were only having a laugh with your talk of war breaking out .
