If you don't know it AI is after you. In the last few months every thing around me is falling apart. First the pool pump
burns up a replacement $500.00 for the motor installed without the AI timer. Next the fourteen year old BOSCH dishwasher
stops working. A new Bosch dishwasher $1200.00 but it has AI so if you are in bed you can run it with your cell phone .
The next thing last  month the wife says the dryer does not work so out to Lowe's for a new LG washer dryer combo for
$2899.00 installed  it also has AI so if you in the garage you can do the wash with your cell . Two weeks ago the garage
door opener has a mind of it's own it goes up half way when it feels like today maybe all the way up later or not at all .
It was installed in 2006 for $300.00. Never worked right a repair man told be the devil is in the brand opener .
A new one installed that also has AI so you can use your cell to let anybody in if you are out to lunch and that is only $600.00 installed .
So how can I buy a coin this month when AI is after me .

Hmmm…so when Comrade Harris takes over and turns the US into her socialist dystopia, the government will say “driving cars is bad, and will use the AI to keep your garage closed; then, dishwashers are white privilege, and use AI to lock out your machine; then climate change experts say only wash your clothes once per month, and use the AI to lock out your machine” etc. I don’t buy any smart appliances. Your data is being monitored to be used against you. Right, I’m off to make a new tinfoil hat, this one has worn out.

I know the feeling. My wifes car aircon stopped working. And it was down to a simple part that broke .. but then took the compressor with it and the ac radiator too. 

And my car is going in for its MOT ( car inspection like DVLA ) but much more strict. 

I know it needs a CV joint/ boot. So on a Jeep that will need both sides doing at least. NOT cheap. And who knows what else if anything they find. Lots of expenses this month.

I feel your pain! I'm on a mission to keep AI and "smart" devices out of my life. The newest car I would willingly buy now is probably 2010.

I don't like that everything you buy now seems to have wifi or blue tooth connectivity. I always feel as though I should remove the transmitter from anything I buy. But it would probably stop whatever it is I've bought from working.

Same here. I can deal with my fridge and washing machine without needing assistance from a magic chip. When I can't it'll be time to be put out to grass.

I asked Chat GPT how many devices in my house were listening to me. It told me none because there were no signs of intelligent life...

I see I've joined the luddite revolution! Technology is amazing but the profiteering from controlling and spying on us, not so amazing. The last guy who attempted to give the world profound technology for free was Nikola Tesla and look how he ended up - broke, alone and talking to pigeons

There is no escaping AI, surveillance and control if you want to be part of the modern world. Every major new sports stadium/public venue in the US/UK are ticketless and cashless. You cannot gain entry without biometrics (facial ID, fingerprints) and you can't buy anything without AI tracking your movements, seeing what you ordered/picked up and automatically charging you for it via your biometric ID. They tell us this is for security reasons, to keep out terrorists and "far right thugs", but if this technology is meant to make me feel safe and secure, why do I feel so paranoid?

If I show up at a pro-Trump, pro-Farage rally will the AI clock me and ban me from buying food or fuel for a week? Will my red meat allowance be reduced, my AI boiler and AC systems turned down during the winter? Probably, the globalists seem to want us all to have a social credit score so they can deal with political dissidents like they do in China - by revoking their biometric credentials from trains, planes, toll booths, public spaces, supermarkets, workplaces and their own apartment blocks

Yep I will stick to a car that isn't electric (they want us in EVs so they can monitor every move we make, automatically restrict our movements and use driverless AI to repossess our cars if we fall out of line or dare to venture outside our 15-minute city), and a house that runs on physical switches and buttons with its own water supply. I won't even buy a smart TV let alone a sentient dishwasher

It's fine the way our governments waste money and tax us we wont be able to afford to upgrade anything and we will be still working in our 70's

As one who doesn't have either a TV or a smartphone, I think I'm a paid-up Luddite. I even read real books, with paper pages. There's no hope for me.
