The Nutcracker by the Perth Mint

Is this just a coin, or a decoration? I am confused as I think it is failing at both!!! Which is a shame as I absolutely love this.

I love the ballet, but the coin is less to my taste. It's beautifully made, but I find it a bit twee. I think I just have a thing against Christmas specials.
I don't think it's intended as a Christmas tree ornament - but if you were so inclined a length of thin ribbon could be looped through the ring and used to hang it on the tree.
Finally Jon, the image of you as a little elf will live in my mind for far too long.

It's pretty, alot of detail on it but yes it should be hanging on a Xmas tree
