NIce coin Jon, I do like the RAM products.
I know nothing about the numbering, but RAM do seem to like doing mini-series within the overall Kangaroo series: for instance the 'Seasons Change' series in 2016/7/8 and /9. There was also a bit of a series with designs by famous Australian artists in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
I have the first from 1993, and the 30th Jubilee issue from last year, and I think that'll do me.

They are selling from £50 to £150 depending on the mintage. Yes 2024 is the 31st coin of the series. Only Perth Mint Kookas beat that starting in 1990.

interesting facts in Silver

The First Libertad was minted in 1982 in .999 Silver

The First ASE " American Silver Eagle" was minted in 1986 in .999 Silver

The First Maple was minted in 1988 in .999 Silver

And the First Britannia was minted in 1997 in .999 Silver.

Note some of these were previously only minted in Gold. But you can see when Silver started to become a popular choice.
