1934 liberty peace dollar coin
Thu Oct 13, 2022 11:46 am
Hi,
I was working near Burnley and picked up a 1934 liberty dollar from the local auction, £12 plus buyers fee so it came to just under £14.

I know it’s 90% silver, 10% copper and weighs in at 26.73 grams with a silver weight of 0.77344 oz
It also has the D marking which means it was made by the Denver mint
Here are the quants made
1934 Philadelphia 954,057
1934 D Denver 1,569,500
1934 S San Francisco 1,011,000
Anyway I like it a lot, it’s nice to have a piece of history at a low price
