https://www.warwickandwarwick.com/auctions/catalogue

Lots of nice lots, too many to go through them all.

I won’t be attending but will put in a few bids online

Hopefully the auction will interest a few of the forum users

Hi
It works for me, you have to select the coin auction on the 19th October and the catalogue comes up.

Alternatively you can view it here

https://www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/af616dea70bc4a80a6a0ce63c7e8bb22/0af8d24542e81eb9357e7ef448a6646f/coins-medals-militaria-and-banknotes-auction/

Lots of silver content coin collections!

Thanks bud, that second link worked for me. But for some reason the first one keeps me going in loops.

Rolling Eyes Thank you I am on page 2 and having a good look around.

Well I didn’t win anything!

I bid what I thought where fair prices on about 10 lots, but I got outbid on them all.

Warwick and Warwick auctions are often a bit more pricey than others but they do ensure they don’t sell any fakes.

Anyway, I will keep looking.

An interesting lot !

Near impossible to work out the scrap value without checking every coin for its silver content

As usual the coiners auction prices are expensive!

However they are one of the best auctioneers around despite there auctions commanding a premium.
I think it’s simply because they have a excellent reputation so the risk of forgeries is reduced.

I bid on this lot but it sold for considerably more https://www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/lot/06a003400a313ce7cd5d049d1b3188f3/0af8d24542e81eb9357e7ef448a6646f/auction-16-a-general-sale-of-numismatic-items-lot-103/

It looks to have gone for a very good price, judging by the ones on sale on eBay. Better luck next time @SanMarino

I bid £110 which i though was more than fair considering there is a 19.6% buyers fee on top, £180 plus buyers fee is crazy

Hmm. It's the first 5 oz coin in pure silver minted by the Royal Mint, and quite a limited edition of 7,500, and there's the historic interest of the London Olympics. Just over £215 for that isn't half bad these days when a fairly standard BU coin can set you back £30 and more.
