Hey folks
Does anyone know of any Mint videos where they show how they colourise coins? I’m curious to see how they do it and what sort of paint they use etc.

I would also like to know more about the process as I have bought a lot of them over the last few years. Both B/U and Proof coins, looking at them very closely there seems to be lots of methods used to colour coins. They start around £30 for 1 oz up to £100's for every type of collectible numismatist creation.

I believe it’s called pad printing. There are a few videos on it. This one is quite good.

I have the bottom half of that machine.. LOL but I bet the top half and computer side is well out of my price budget.
