Dilbert collectibles
Mon May 01, 2023 5:48 pm
Now that the Dilbert comic by Scott Adams has been cancelled and new books are scrapped, could the previously published books and merchandise become valuable collectibles in the coming years?

Depends on how many are out there in circulation. Perhaps it’s like when an author dies. Are Terry Pratchett books now more collectible?

There are an awful lot of Dilbert books out there - just look on eBay.ArcaneCollector wrote:Depends on how many are out there in circulation. Perhaps it’s like when an author dies. Are Terry Pratchett books now more collectible?
First editions of Terry Pratchett can fetch high prices (depending on condition), but it's the first impressions that are the gold standard. The Holy Grail is a 1:1 of 'The Colour of Magic', the first book in the series: only 506 were printed and most went to libraries. Above all beware of "First edition thus", which means that it was reprinted in a new binding.
