Absolutely not. That would be a sin.. These are soo dang delicious it is crazy. I gave each of my boys one, and my wife one... I gave my wife the Mint cookies... because before we got married she tried some and loved them. So I bought her a box.
And the rest are all mine. I had 2 so far and that is enough for me for today.

I'm glad the cookies arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Especially after you haven't eaten them in over a quarter century.
No dunkin in coffee or milk for these cookies. Just wholesome goodness.

A great go to snack to give to a young child especially when they are teething.

You must have them confused with something else. These are definitely not teething biscuits! They are as hard as bricks! Best way to eat them is to dunk into coffee. It can suck up half a mug in 10 seconds. My mom used to bake them, but we would eat the buttermilk loaves with strawberry jam before they could dry out. The condensed milk flavour are delicious!Admin wrote:I can still say for certain they sell these at Tesco's Asda, Sainsbury's etc.

These are South African rusks. All South African shops will have them. As well as lemon creams and chockits (oat and coconut with a chocolate centre).Bondie wrote:I’ve not seen those before @ArcaneCollector… whereabouts are they from?

ArcaneCollector wrote:You can’t beat the biscuits of your childhood!
My parents never put biscuits and rolls of any kind on the table. That's why I easily took to them after I came of age and left the house. Especially baked biscuits, Texas bread and soft bread sticks. Yum yum.

Because I don't drink coffee, tea or milk, I'd have to roll the Rusk in my mouth before attempting to bite into it. Just haven't had the opportunity to try one.

Here is the answer... and I thought I was right.
Are baby rusks hard?
A rusk is a hard baked bread or biscuit which is used as a teething food for babies. They're created so babies can bite & chew down without even cracking the rusk
