Good to see these coins up close @Admin . This is one of the two Pressburg series that I'm collecting, along with Equilibrium, and I still think they are the best of the bunch. I have two each of the Terras because the obverse and reverse are both worth displaying.
The biggest change is the move to Niue from Tokelau, (does anybody know why?), and that might explain the change in denomination.
The round was issued on 20th June 2017, according to my records, with a mintage of 10,000. 2020, 2021 and 2022 had mintages of 20,000, again according to my records. They have now bounced up to 100,000 which is what they have done with Equilibrium. Maybe Niue has put different licensing obligations on the mint. They're still both great series though.

I wonder if the crack lines in the oceans represent the affects of plate tectonics.

The switch is because of the queens passing, They needed to do something and under new management it was probably a cost effective way to do it.
