A moment of Thought 9/11

I was going through posts today and it was easy to forget that today on September 11th 2001 ( 22 years ago! ) I remember it VIVIDILY
My wife and I were only over weeks before and were in the financial district as well.
Loads of pictures showing us on the river on the boat as well, etc. Anyway. I remember it because I was trying to get back home after the attacks to help. But no airlines would fly,. Even the local US base here would not allow it. Which peeved me off.
I was worried about family who worked there, and family who lives there at the time.
Luckily for me no family were injured. But I do know that friends and co workers of my family were amongst the dead and missing.
So 22 years ago, I will never forget.
