I decided to do a trial.

I deposited £25 into the Royal Mint's online investment and will keep doing that for the next few months.

But I am also going to try out Coinbase or another company .

I want to put in 4x's £25 in each account to see what the outcome is in say 3/ 6/ 9 and 12 months are.

Suggestions on the second company???

I wont say the good or bad points until I can at least get the second company of my choosing up and going to work out which is a safer way to invest my money.

OOOH and finally there is a hidden 3rd and 4th option but you probably can guess what they are.

You don't.  That's simple. 
But using a credit card or bank card is also impossible.  Before when I was younger they would make a carbon copy of your card. Now they say get cash.

I agree and I will show my findings later possibly in January.

I have been buying Crypto, And a few unexpected Virtual things.

And I will compare to Physical Cash and Bullion.

This way I can go through and give my views and pitfalls on everything. I might do it sooner than later but it depends on a lot of factors.

But I do agree 100% with your comment. If you don't have it in your possession you do not own it.

I am using Coin base as my Crypto provider.

Now I am no expert and they do have flaws and positives ! One of the flaws is the transaction fees. It is not worth your time putting in £20 as you will loose about £1.50 ish... NOT EXACT FIGURES
