Just got Chess King from Silver Trader. What a beauty, I hope it's not a one off and it is a set
Definitely not disappointed with quality and design of this coin

No, it is just like the Kingfisher.... it is purely a Proof collectable coin. Saying that it is a good price.... especially for the quality.

It will be up soon. By 230 for sure.

He is doing a lot of packaging atm. And will list it soon. I was told that in the morning. So watch this space.

It does look good, but I'm going for Captain Cook instead.

That is a good looking coin and an excellent idea for a series. A portion of a chessboard backing in a display case would be quite striking. Preferably a marble one.

I got mine through yeserday as well, probably the most I have paid for an ounce of silver but I like it, the presentation is first class as is the round.

These Proof coins are not cheap but they are a LOT cheaper than that other coin I featured the other week... I know a few members bought them. I just could not bring myself to paying about £300 for a oz.
