Re: 30th Anniversary 1oz Silver Kangaroo RAM
Two tiny points of info: the 'c' stands for Canberra, which is where the first issue was minted, and if you stop your video at 8.06 you can see a tiny bit of the edge. As you guessed, it is reeded.
I do like the RAM Kangaroos, and I think they are superior to the ones issued by the Perth Mint. I don't have the full series, but I have the Seasons Change (2016-2019), the Mob of Kangaroos from 2019 with the three different privy marks, and the standard issues from the last three years. This is probably a good place to stop, with the Jubilee Mob of Thirty - and although it would probably be churlish of me to point out that this is in fact the 31st coin in the series, I'll do it anyway
So far as slabbing is concerned, I'm not keen on that being the only way to buy the coin. Looking at the carded versions, there has also been the choice of a coin simply in a capsule, and this has been my choice. For this issue, I might have got both, but I feel my hand has been forced. Carded and slabbed coins have storage issues, especially if they appear in the middle of a series.
Still, it's a beautiful coin, and as always seeing it in close-up made all the difference to my appreciation.

That's fun looking. It appears the kangaroo is competing in the long jump.

I've not long listed a load of Kangaroos on Ebay TCM, I would have given you the heads up first if I'd known you were interested as I have a 93, also selling a 95, 96, 98
Here's a link to the 93 you can see the others from here, I've just stuck them on at 99p start so I've no idea what they will end up at.

Thank you for thinking of me, though. I have now saved you as a seller so I'll look in from time to time. I'll also see what the coins go for.

The Cat's Mother wrote:Hi @Rod Panhard . To be honest, it was just the 1993 I wanted, so I could have the first and the (for me anyway) last. I'm not a huge fan of carded coins as they're a pain to store, and I would have preferred the Jubilee edition to have just been in a capsule. Needs must though.

With the RAM carded Kangaroos you can take the capsule out of the card if you want and just have that on it's own. I had the intention of getting them all at one point but gave up on it.

The Cat's Mother wrote:Hi @Rod Panhard , I looked at the results from your Kangaroo auctions, and I'm fairly smug that the 1993 went for more than I paid for mine. I'm glad you got decent prices though.
A woman from the Isle of Man just about bought the lot TCM, I'm happy enough like I said I had every intention of collecting the entire series but when that was shelved the funds can go to completing other series I am collecting. I sell mainly to keep my Ebay selling profile current so if the prices ever do go ballistic I look like a trustworthy seller with good feedback.

depending on how much you have for sale, I would always be happy to take pictures for you of them. But you just need to get a smart phone. lol
life would be soo much easier. to harrass you

Re: 30th Anniversary 1oz Silver Kangaroo RAM
In silver, I have the Tower of London boxed set of four, a set of the first five dragon bars, and the Spirit Animals set of three that I've fallen out of love with.
In other things, I have an awful lot of Crown Derby paperweights that I would like to move on. Photos of those are a pain as each one would need four or five, including box, certificate, base stamp and the piece itself. You really wouldn't want to know.

I get it, I have a lot of silver that I would like to get rid of because I have either fallen out of love with it as well or just done with.
But then I put it back down and it is still part of my collection, At the end of the day it is gaining at least spot price value. LOL
Those dragon bars would fly I bet.... the first 5 WOW ..
I have melted soo many down I couldnt tell you what they were now. But I do have the latest one here.
that being I have so many packages on the way to me it is crazy. Silver silver and I think some gold, but who knows.

Well, I listed them for sale on the Forum on 4th July, and there hasn't been a sniff, so I reckon they're not exactly about to fly.

I might take these off your hands soon, I had a good result on the horses at Glorious Goodwood so should have a few quid coming my way.

Just a case of waiting for the fund to be cleared into my bank account TCM, says 3 days max.
