Dentist time

Well finally glad to say I have lost a tooth. Two weeks of going to the dentist and then flogging me off saying I need a root canal to end  up in emergency dentist with a huge infection in the jaw and they've pulled it out. Bloody Hell its massive now I got just under two weeks before I fly. I wasn't very brave she did the all lot with my eyes shut

Yikes!

@tray , you have my sympathy. It puts the two fillings I have scheduled for tomorrow into perspective.

Hey Jon, didn't you say you were going to ban the next members to talk about dentists? What will you do without the Agony Aunts?  

He can't Ban us who would he have to annoy him?
And I didn't go into detail about what's been going on all week I think my husband's glad he's been able to go to work to hide but you've got to look on the sunnyside 2 weeks of no sailing

Could you get your dentist to say that it was sailing that caused the problem? That would be a win.

I can imagine, and getting good treatment in Egypt might not be too easy. You could end up with your name in hieroglyphs etched across your incisors.

It was bad enough when I took the kids to the Gambia one of them got sick and I had to take him to the doctor that came out with a great big long dress. The kids were convinced he was a witch doctor. They were terrified. I had to drag the little one in to the room and of course the doctors just stood there with this bloody great injection in his hand poor little lad. Scream the place down

I hope you remind them of this now they're strapping great lads. Wimps.

I was in the chair for 75 minutes. The first filling took around 45 minutes and the second one, and scale + polish, the rest of the time. Painless though, the anaesthetic was very effective on the lower jaw and I didn't need any for the upper incisor. The real pain came when I put my PIN into the card machine.
Anyway, they're all nicely sharpened now and ready to go.
I finished off the perfect day by doing the vacuuming and dusting. Peace and quiet, and a G&T now.
