Ok I have a few old coins. I'm thinking about selling them. But how auctions, eBay, definitely not dealers.

It really depends on what coins Tray,
There is a auction house I can recommend. One of the members here uses them and have bought and sold from them quite a lot.
@Fortune8 is the one to ask. If you do not get a reply from him I will call him and speak to him directly to ensure you get a answer.

There are UK online price guides for the coins you have.

If you're in the UK -
If they're not really valuable (say, less than a 1oz gold coin), then either TSF or one of the facebook groups is a good starting point. You could also try ebay.
If they're going to be worth more than a few hundred quid and they're numismatically interesting, you could try coins of the realm auctions. COTR have no buyer's premium so they're quite a bit more efficient than a traditional auction house.
If you have a lot to sell, Backyard Bullion offers a brokerage service, and he has a pretty decent reach these days. He charges a commission of £1/oz of silver or £25/oz of gold. He's taken a break over christmas, but he might start up again fairly soon. You could try getting in touch with him.
