I found that some of these are hard as heck to do.
I can do it out of lost wax. But its the only way I have learnt to cast in weird places.

Yes. Lost wax casting would be epic hahaha I may just press what I have. In the. Sand. And do an open pour and file and. Grind away parts that I don’t need lol

Please let me know, I tried to do that but failed. I know others can, but admit that I have never mastered this technique.

I am new here and I am just getting started but I was told that things with open bends and loops are generally a no go unless they can be made the center of the cast flat

When you are just starting off, and even after years of experience...

Menehune a great caster !!! Exceeds anything I can cast with sand .... is amazing. I still ask how did you do that. I have just sent him a elephant that I made which has curves and well fine details, but I used a different technique to do this.
Sandcasting is fun and enjoyable. For the most part you will know if you will have a castable item or not. I need to get back in the sandbox and play a bit more because it is one of the cheapest ways to produce something amazing.
Show and tell some of your poured items. We want to see!!!!! Me as Admin/AceBullion am always happy to help if I can, or learn something new.
