introduce myself
introduce myself
I've been investing in the well-known silver and gold investment coins for some time now, spreading my savings risks a bit.
I once built a Juliana and Wilhelmina collection in the 1970s. The two full books have gone to my son and grandchildren. Actually, I didn't think about collectibles anymore.
As a child I was already crazy about the silver Rijksdaalders and recently I received a beautiful silver Juliana as a gift. So it started to itch again to start building a small collection of silver Rijksdaalders. My goal was to get one Rijksdaalder from each monarch.
I now have:
1961, 1930, 1862, 1847.
The last purchase (it was hard to swallow :unfused: ) is a Willem I, 1840. (see image)
I am very happy with this because it completes the silver Rijksdaaldervorstenhuis. So a mini collection.

WOW, those are beautiful and no doubt extremely difficult to obtain. Well done. You can breath now that your set is complete.
