I agree it's Canadian (the maple leaves and the 'DA' are a bit of a giveaway), but I would say the last figure in the date is a 6 not an 8.

as a Canadian, I can CONFIRM it IS a Canadian quarter!!! Nice addition to your collection. as for the date it appears to be a 1936 Canadian Quarter, for a moment I thought maybe it was a 1906 quarter but the bust of King George V is facing the wrong way to be the 1906.

Awesome information I was wondering who the king on the quarter was yeah I think I made a typo when I said 1938 lol oops my bad I only have US silver quarters so this was a nice difference in my silver stack
