I'm with Martin on this one. I do like the leopard, but I'm not so keen on the fish (the water splashes are good though), or what I initially thought was a rather odd snowman! It's a miss from me. I'm sure lots of people will like it. Thanks for the review @Admin

I've been collecting the series, so I will be getting this one. I'm with you on the chewing gum rock though Jon: it adds nothing and actually detracts from the overall coin.

Would have preferred an underwater seascape background (coral reef) with the ocean ray kicking up sand from the bottom as it started moving.

I am happy with it as it is, just get rid of that rock/ice thingy and it would be ok.
I honestly like the coin but what and why is that rock there? zoom in more on that ray and it would be even better to be honest.

I guess the rock/ice thingy is there to add balance to the coin. The colorized version has it looking like a rock.
The ray itself looks stunning. It amazes me how nature developed life through the eons.

@Periodic Table and @Admin, now that we see it in colour, the thingy really does look like quite an impressive rock (IMHO). Do you think it's a real rock that actually exists? If it does, I wonder if it has a name? In fact, could it be in Thailand?

It definitely represents an oceanic basalt pillar. Where? I don't know. Maybe the designer(s) took liberties in creating their own rock pillar on the coin. Anyway, the famous Sofugan Island pillar in the Philippine Sea is a good example of one.

Oh it's a rock. When I first seen it I thought it was Harry potter sorting hat. now it makes sense. It's a rock. Do like the ray

Rays are amazing aquatic sea life for sure. They can appear to fly and are seen flapping as if they are flying Hence names given such as devil fish and Angels .
It is something to see. I have been lucky to see some whilst diving before. And I was stunned.
