Pobjoy Mint Empty Pobjoy Mint

Fri Oct 13, 2023 7:36 pm
Arrived back today to an email telling me that the Pobjoy Mint is to close at the end of the year, due to the Managing Director retiring. They aim to complete all outstanding series to allow collectors time to finish their collections, but if anyone is putting things off, it might be worth bringing them forward. I have been collecting the BVI Pegasus annual coins, but not much else.
There may also be opportunities for collector/sellers to get some extras too.

Oh dear. Still, nobody has commented, so you still have an open field.

Why don't they sell it as a going concern?

Better than Wales, RM should close it before they don't have any customers left.

If I could afford it I would buy it.

But they seem to not be bothered about selling it. Strange.

That comes from the owners directly.

I read that Taya Pobjoy will be putting her proof and high-speed presses on the market. You can contact them directly.
