The cartoon postulates an alternative timeline for the film Alien where Jones the cat catches and kills the baby alien, as any good ship's cat should.

Jones is, naturally, very pleased with himself and brings it to mummy as a present.

In related news, it seems our neighbour's cat is in the process of adopting us into its circle of humans.
