Ok so this is Chunky our other master.
Sadly we are having issues with someone who thinks it's their cat. Argh!
RSPCA has no suggestions to stop it. She came home after missing for a Month wearing this collar. We put our telephone number on it. That day she came back with it removed. But then she came back after a few days with a unbreakable collar. I took that off and put a ALERT collar on her saying DO not feed special diet.
Long story short I am looking to buy a GPS collar now to locate where she goes. Anyone used one?

Hi @AceBullion . I can't help you much with GPS collars, but:
Is Chunky chipped? If so, the date she was chipped would end discussion on ownership if it was a considerable time ago. If she isn't, then it might be an idea to get her done asap, by the vet you use for her annual shots and any other treatment, ie one who knows both you and Chunky and can vouch for you if necessary. Presumably you have full vaccination records going back a few years, and your vet will have her history on file. Also mention these incidents to your vet: that way if she goes AWOL again he might be able to tip off other vets in the area in case the catnapper brings her in. It is good practice for vets to check for microchips on all new patients (our vet won't accept a new animal for treatment unless the person who brings it in consents to this), so that is some protection although it does assume that this person takes her to a vet at some point.
It is a real concern, and I feel for you.

Yes she is chipped and fully cared for. (I thought she would be, but it's always worth mentioning - TCM)The Cat's Mother wrote:Hi @AceBullion . I can't help you much with GPS collars, but:

I do not know who the other person is who is putting this collar and the non breakable collar on her... They have been removing my collars which say DO NOT FEED, one that had our telephone number on, It is honestly a frustration and heart break, even her brother Builder is not happy when she goes away for a long time.... He loves her swats her then loves her... and goes about his way.
She does need a controlled diet according to our vet to prevent a UTI which she still freaken has. But I am not locking her in a house as it means shutting every door and window... nope!
So I plan on getting a GPS collar and finding out once and for all who the heck is this other person... I will mark my scent if I have to.

Didn't know you were out in Oz mate, and they're very tame for wild birds
I'm not sure my boys would like the look of those beaks though.
